Figures speak for themselves and they dont show any momentum at all, unless heading downhill gives momentum..most of the clubs were financially rooted way before the host deal was announced which is why the wafc were able to push them around so easily.

Yep I have heard Hackdorn mention Perth too as the obvious choice..if his figures are correct then there will be only 1 team remaining and that is $ubiaco. I think we probably wont have the WAFL as we know it in 5 years unfortunately as it seems the powers to be are out to get it. That's when I will switch to another sport and not follow it again, they are C##ts!! The comp was flying in 2012 with 4 radio stations, print media, crowds rising and a stable TV coverage. And then the word alignment got mentioned..it has been down hill ever since

I agree with what you say in the main, its what I have been saying for a few years now , the WAFL will not survive in its current form for another decade, but why do you keep repeating this BS about the comp flying and crowds growing in 2012, its total BS , check your facts the attendances peaked in 2009 and dropped steadily from there.

The whole momentum of the comp lifted markedly on the back of the best WAFL GF in 20 years - the 2010 GF, was gaining beautifully in 2012 then it started to decline

Thats BS, the figures dont bare it out, merely your perception.

The biggest home and away attendance of 11 500 in 2009 has never been matched since.

11 500 gee that sounds like an exact crowd figure and not a guesstimate

One Sunday 9 or 10 of us should all agree to call in between 11 and 12 and bombard them with WAFL questions etc and listen to how quick Hackdorn trys to switch it to AFL talk

Just the same old Fremantle Dockers Show....."boring"
They could have talked about how Essendon SHOULD compensate the clubs of all the top-up players taken. No way should they not pay for their sins.

As they SD, you won't know unless you give it a go.
I too would be most interested in hearing what happens.
Perhaps we could form an ozfooty Wafl advisory group (wag), to remind the mainstream media that the Wafl still exists. I would have thought there's enough members on here to start it up & kick it along.
Just thinking aloud. :)

Grassy Raitt from SF was the inaugural Chairman of Council Presidents of the G6 back in 2012/13 before they removed him soon after as he was a deadset dud and replaced him with Raponi!

Do you really think a former WAFC board member will turn on them?

Its business as usual I am afraid.
