I have no doubt it has been going on for decades LB, the difference back in the day was income for all clubs was fair and equitable. The work put in determined your revenue, sponsors, bar and functions etc. Fuck, if we had the board we have today in the 80s, we would have been in $ubi's league ;)

Disagree Leedy, Subi may be flush these days but for decades it was never fair or equitable, we were not permitted to have a license due to the WANFL having a license for their premises at Subi oval plus we never had proper clubrooms until the early 1970's and have never had the luxury of watching the game from the bar like all other clubs until we moved to Leederville, no wonder we never attracted members or supporters when other clubs has such superior facilities, uneven playing field then as it is perceived to be now. Those are the facts.

It was once said (I don't know who by)that if all of the money in the world was divided up evenly between all, the people who had it to start with, would end up with it again. :( Go Subi. :P

Thats fine SS, but Im fairly confident that the tax payer payed for Subi Oval and all the other WAFL grounds, why do they get an extensive benefit from it still to this day ? The burning question is how have WAFC kept the salary rorting swept under the carpet for as long as it has? Randall me thinks!!!

And swandog I would have been quite happy with that on the proviso that rather than try to buy players as we have in the past we played our ressies and colts and gave them the chance.

I like to win but I like it even more to see EP players playing for EP not a team purchased!

If the alignment goes on for another 15 years with EastPerth and Peel.Like 2015 they did not win the flag, but the normal team football cycle wont be there imo.Rebuild a side then challenge for the finals then have a tilt at the premiership then start all over again.Does the alignment guarantee finals every year?
