I've got no problem with ch 7 and the coverage, in fact i think its bloody good.

The issue I have is the lack of proffesional effort in the ground presentation as displayed Sunday, how hard would it be to get the council to grader a pile of dirt,ef council are obviously using the ground as a tip for ground fill and has totally lost interest in the place as a venue.

It looked appaling on commercial TV.

Must agree that corner in the outer isn't a good look. TBH I prefer no TV coverage for our home games, I think you lose people coming to the game. And to do a game on Mothers Day is simply stupid!

As we wont be at the ground in the long term you wouldn't expect the club or council to be spending any money on the outer I'm afraid.

I actually would like to see CH7 do games we are in against SD...we seem to have them covered of late. I could then see in detail how those umps get it all wrong.

Sorry to get off topic. When West Perth play their finals match (or matches) and it's not broadcast, is the sponsors 43,400 dollars returned to them? If not why not? They would be well within their rights for a refund if no match was televised when it was supposed to be.

more interested in seeing all these brain fades TBH Rock........anyway next time EF have a televised game, I'll send out a few pms to bazza and the oz footy boys to collect their paint brushes, lawn mowers, hoes, rakes etc and do a bit of DIY the day before......would love to have EF oval looking as good as Basso, Lathlain Park etc but sadly the council and club aren't as proactive I guess.....as for Freo oval, I guess looking after concrete is far easier than keeping the grass manicured.....all you need is a dust pan and brush.

I think that this is an obvious solution. Why can't they have the cameras on the opposite side of the ground so you view all the grandstands etc. It is where all the people are as we'll so it will look like there are big crowds there. They could do this at all the grounds so you are not looking into empty areas. It wouldn't take much you would think.
