SDFC and the Bassendean Council should be commended on the presentation of Bassendean Oval. It is one of the best.

Yes exactly. East Fremantle Oval always has been displeasing to the eye. When viewing the Wafl televised games last year, the pile of sand and long grass stood out like a lighthouse. I'm sure some club office staff and others could do a busy bee one time.

Channel 7's decision to not cover Falcon games gives them less choice to schedule good games from attractive venues. Who ever came up with a game on mothers day involving the Demons has to have a look at themeslves. Crowd poor, ground even worse as a spectacle

Maybe they thought Perth was a big chance of doing something this year.

It is East Fremantle oval. You can't polish a turd.
Astro, my learned friend. Perth's 2 games on tv have been a 10 point and a 24 point margin. Hardly games to frighten people away.

This is a time to be positive.
The Competition would have been damaged significantly if no channel had picked up the WAFL coverage.
So from me well done Channel 7 and their major Sponsors

As the man said on the movie The Castle ...

You must be Dreeeaaaamin!!!

Besides Channel BULLY there was also other stations trying for the Tender ... one of them was LOCKED OUT of negotiations ... hmmm who were they again? - oh yeah - the hint is on the West Perth Jumper and just incase you've forgot - one of the oldest WAFL teams and the ONLY team snubbed by Channel BULLY to be shown this season

Myself and many others are hoping against hope that West Perth get into the finals.
What's the wankers gonna doo then .... ??

But its you opinion isn't it - carry it close.

Bitter and twisted are you Growler

If you think the WAFL competition would be better off with no coverage then you are delusional

Perth has been allocated 3 games in 20 Rounds.

For Growlers benefit 40 divided by 9 teams, sorry 8 teams equals 5 games each

They are only broadcasting 18 actually and unlike the ABC's coverage they are able to hold the competition to ransom and dictate when the games will be played like they did yesterday. I assume that if West Perth play finals which is looking a distinct possibility at the moment that they will not broadcast the games involving them, so it is a partial coverage only and revolves around the AFL. It is another step along the way of the rebranding of the WAFL as AFLWA.
