So now i see WAFC want to run there eye over club sponsorshipss at WAFL Clubs before the clubs can accept.
They cannt land a deal in any format an have infact been responsable for morea deals than they have won in the past couple of years.
I suspect they want to encroach on Kmart,BHP,QBE, Alliance etc that clubs have been very good winning and sustaining.
I really dont think this WAFC can be trusted.
They have almost stuffed themselves now they wan to stuff the clubs!

What does the WAFC's charter state? Do the WAFL clubs answer to them or do they answer to the WAFL clubs?
How is the voting weighted? The 2 AFL clubs, 9 WAFL clubs and anyone else?
Should East Perth & Peel have voting rights given their alliance to the 2 AFL clubs?
Does anyone know the above?
Wonder if it's aimed at West Perth with channel 9 a sponsor given channel 7 may televise games. Not saying this is the case, no malice intended, but given sponsors signage around the grounds and logo on players' jumpers plus at 1/4 & 3/4 time huddles tend to see advertising placed around the huddles maybe that's a sticking point.

If this was perhaps FIFA or the Olympics, I could accept this to a degree or at least understand it.

But this is WAFL footy. Heavens above if this actually is a sticking point, then nothing telecast wise will get off the ground. Its over the top preciousness.

And wouldn't it be hypocritical of Channel 7 given when they do a cricket report on their nightly news, isn't it the Channel 9 footage they show in depth ??

Its time to get it sorted and start planning. mmmmmm Enough bullshit

I reckon the 50K demanded by the WAFC to cover the TV, will end up back in the coffers of the dockers and wce, mark my words this is all just a scam to get the host club payments down, they have the wafl clubs over a barrell, the WAFC will do a back room deal with Ch 7 that will end up costing them bugger all and funnel the dough back to the two AFL monsters.

Why else would they want to scrutinise each WAFL clubs sponsorship arrangement?
That's why I asked who answers to who?
Why the standover tactics? How can they determine who is allowed to sponsor and who is not? The fact that they can go through what is a confidential commercial agreement may scare potential sponsors off.
Or is it a case of the WAFC believing the WAFL aren't declaring the full value and wanting to cut the money WAFL clubs get from the WAFC? Again, no malice intended.

Reckon they want to have a crack club sponsors for themselves. WAFC hot on the coat tails of BHP,RIO and the like.
I bet my left knacker that WCE and FFC do not run deals through the WAFC.
WAFL Clubs need every cent they get because the WAFC are slashing the returns to them.
Any interference from those morans probably jeopardises the clubs deal.

I still don't understand what their intentions are. This surely will antagonise the G7 clubs. The relationship is already strained. It looks like they are trying to reduce even further what the WAFL receives and are looking to see if everything is declared by the WAFL clubs.
