One could delude oneself and think that Connor Blakely's development was becuase of his involvement in the 18s carnival rather than playing in our league side.
bit confused as where and why you came out with that comment 42 .......all I'm saying is that every state had key guys out with injuries and they seem to over come these losses ok and win games during the carnival.....a tad better it seems than what WA could/did.....
BH.....I'd be interested to see which state has the most players delisted post drafting within 4 years and which state produces the most players who stay in the AFL the longest.....there will always be a bias to Vic Metro/Country players.......
Freeze I dont have those figures on me but you are right in regards the bias towards Vic boys ...on another point it would be fair to say SD, EF, SF & C have provided almost all of the WA draftees over the last decade with very little coming from any of the other clubs (WART & FART couldnt give a shit about their youngsters anyway) although to be fair P have certainly provided deadset quality in the likes of Franklin, O'Meara et al
