Interesting to note that not one player was drafted from a dominant Swans' Colts' team.

Perhaps the first thing that Dorrington can do to prove that he is interested in the WAFL competition is to get the WAFL AFL alignment removed once and for all.

I see how Blackie gets in front of the umps and with boyish charm rarely ruffles official feathers and is a running machine. Yes he obtained the states highest footy award but I have to say that 'stats do not a footy player make'.
Lets see how he goes this year with hard ball gets, less back & forth between on field mates, and rising to the teams needs with assists, the one percentres and position player passing.
The scouts/recruiters see what we miss and my opinion is the lack of interest speaks volums
BUT and its big one - theres still the 'rookie draft' to come and I wish him well here - my comments are my observations and not my desire for this young man not to succeed!
So good luck to all in the coming Rookie Draft.
