East Perth will fight a raid by West Perth on one of their best young talents after the Falcons signed AFL prospect Tyler Keitel to a two-year contract.

Kietel is on EP protected 40 player list that's why he has to be cleared. Perth just don't have any cash on hand as far as I know to pay for Payne.

East Perth aren't allowed by WAFC rules to recruit from outside their zone, apart from unattached Amateurs.
