Apparently Jordan Lockyer is a 2 point player

bugger...i just read Daniel Leishman isn't suiting up next year. i'm not sure what he's doing but he's far too young to retire.

love the comment on the Subi thread regarding Menagola's recruitment.....'he had the connection with Michael Wood at Peel'.....disappointed Subi couldn't just be straight up and say 'Sam came to Subi because we lined his pockets better than anyone else could or can in the WAFL'....

Also, it has exposed a bit of a loop-hole in the points system. I'm assuming, like Lockyer, Menegola will be a 2 point, or maybe 3 point player because he didn't play an AFL game.

A bit weird when you consider that a bloke that has never been on an AFL list but played only 1 SANFL/VFL game is worth 10 points.

Needs fine tuning.

BC, really sorry to see Leishman retire also. I thought He was just starting to play some outstanding footy last year.

It's a fair whack of losses really - Bristow, Leishman, Kayler-Thomson, McDougall, Forrest, J DeLuca, Jacky gone to Glenelg.

and in today's worst Dean Cadwallader is contemplating leaving EP due to a disillusionment with the WAFL and work commitments. Not getting drafted would be an issue for Dean as he has worked incredibly hard to get back, limited chances perhaps in the future and personal stuff will have all contributed to him being in a quandary. Even Subi with it dollars have not convinced him to play so it is more than the just alignment, IN MY OPINION.

Shame about Cadwallader. Really good player.

Sometimes, kids get disheartened when they don't get drafted.

I know it's disappointing but I wish they would see how lucky they are to have the ability to even be able to play WAFL league footy. I wish I could have played even 1 league game.

Sure, the fans don't turn up as we would like but quality wise it's still a top class comp.

I've enjoyed watching him play and I hope he changes his mind at some stage.
