DG......even my fridge/freezer would look good in maroon & gold mate......Subi have certainly landed on their feet with Lockyer & Menagola only worth 2-3 pts......something quite not right there, even with the delivery of a new "Kitchin" still plenty of points left in the bank to spend and cash too apparently.

What's Papertalk been up to since his WCE "career"?.........I wonder what EF would get in return for his tsfr fee......if anything?.....though being ex AFL listed, isnt the going rate 20K?....surely WP wouldn't be silly to pay that sort of money for the kid......fingers crossed they are and do!

Papertalk was playing C2 Ammos at Basso freeze with the likes of Kraks & Yarran which is a world away from WAFL level!

Does EF pick up money for Lucas heading off to WCE/EP?.....not as a rookie I know, because EF already have his Carlton draft fee banked.....but I thought as part of the alignment deal, any AFL listed local boy drafted back to WA from over east to Freo or WCE, their respective WAFL club got some compensation fee?.....or was that just a one off when the alignment was started?

Well they did shell out 10K each for Embley and Adams who were reserves players at Swans so maybe they did the same for Papertalk.

Their fathers must have paid the transfer fee because some Swan supporters think reserves players should be exempt from transfer fees when they want to change clubs.

I agree with you.

Probably indicates why most wafl clubs don't make any money, they think its a good idea to fork out 5-10k for reserves players.
