without doubt the great story is letting blokes like Hill and Butler play wafl finals when they will get nothing out of it and young Eagles and East Perth locals miss out..

bit confused about that - i suppose after last year Dawson is too scared to lose and would prefer to play Hill and Butler than give a local kid a go at winning a flag at his club that he has come up through the ranks at.

MO why would anyone expect the Eagles to show anything other than their usual contempt for the WAFL; they couldn't care less about those legitimate East Perth players who will miss out. The irony is that there won't be a 10 year reunion as "East Perth" will have ceased to exist at that point in time.

No 10yr re-unions at any WAFL clubs soon if we don't fix this shit.

I love admitting when I'm wrong it shows character. Nic is an A grade talent he won't play WAFL but if he does I'm sure he will look good in blue and black or red and black.

Yes true they all seem to lift a cog when they pull on the jumper. I think they love playing with their Eagles mates and have brilliant relationships with the EP boys. That's what makes this alignment work so wonderfully from an Eagles view point. Interesting to see how many Eagles supporters come down on Sunday to watch their future stars.
