If this is considered and i hear it is, then this will be the demise of EPFC. Maybe this is what the WAFC what want-8 teams

I was howled down by so many here when I suggested that.
I am not sure why the Super Seven wouldn't accept that deal in the first place.

A/man we DON'T WANT 10 teams; we DON'T WANT aligned clubs and we WANT to be able to see our colts; reserves and league teams on the same day playing the same club. Further we DON'T WANT an 18 game season. Perhaps your views would have more credence if you attended WAFL games. By your own admission you don't attend WAFL games.

Barney i have been pushing this idea for ages but some g7 people think they own the players after being drafted.I think it would be the fairest thing for all 8 traditional clubs if afl players played with eagles/dockers stand alone teams.get rid of peel and the bye as well.more money if we don't have to prop up peel.

How is it fair chaddy22? Here is a challenge you come up with all the positives to the G7 WAFL clubs for your proposal and then I will list the negatives about such an arrangement.

They why did you make your comment about it about 30 minutes ago? Swan Districts teams aren't playing so I am not sure what game you could be looking forward to.

Just pointing out in a round about away to Chaddy not to be drawn into debate with you because your a taker not a giver. Quite happy to prattle on with your views but it's one sided. First rule of good debate is to engage with the opposition and concede the odd point but win argument. But I still think your a nice chap.

I agree Swan42 but the reality is we will never get back the format we had under any circumstances. But I agree with you 100%.
However the other option would be far far better than what we have now.

The other main concern is we lose the ABCTV next year. Yet nothing has been confirmed for an alternative TV broadcast for 2015. I have zero confidence in the commission to get a new deal done. Its a real worry, without any TV coverage it spells complete doom. And it would show that AFL involvement in the WAFL has sent our progress (lightly used term) backwards, not forwards.

But I hope people get to the EFvSubi final on Sunday. Its going to be a beautiful day, no AFL to worry about, and it should be a good game of footy. Well worth a look for a neutral fan so I will be attending. Good opportunity to get your kids outdoors and free of charge. Hope people make an effort.

Commision have been leading footy a merry dance for years-now itis a drunken stagger. All should be resign there positions and new blood come through.
