If that is not an indication of a sad, unhealthy Wafl comp, not sure what the bloody hell is!?

Unfortunately your avatar says it all..... When East Perth inevitably win the "Premiership" in a few weeks only the deluded will be celebrating.

From memory, the toal attendance figures for the qualifying rounds have been higher than todays 2 Finals matches. Except for two of the rounds. I think it was round 14 had a total attendance of just under 4½ thousand. And think another round had a total crowd figure of just under 5,000. Fairly certain all the other qualifying rounds had attendances greater than. To have only approx. 5000 people attend 2 semi finals is a poor state of affairs indeed. Especially when this "so called" football commission tried to tell us all it was an important year for the Wafl.

Did we see any promotion whatsoever around today's games?

Nothing I can think of. 91.3 Always pushes the games and lots of WAFL content but not a huge listening base. (sorry guys)

The media for the games is at a all time low as well now 990 has left the scene
I have given up trying to find hot country digitial.
91.3 is the main broadcaster and does 2 games when split rounds.

I agree with another poster there was a game last week and in the Budget they had 720 as doing a game (A game I wanted to listen to) and it never happened. They had a AFL game on and thought they would cross after that but never happened.

The WAFC has to get that sorted out as we had pretty good coverage in the past years,
Now we have games WITH NO BROADCAST. It is a disgrace but conducive to the way the WAFL is going. The WAFC ran at a loss last year and are not travelling to well this year so dont expect any better

The way it is going we could have no TV broadcast next year. Fark I wish they would just stick to ABC.
This message represents the official view of the voices in my head

Best chance we have is for WA to secede from the rest of the country and have the 2 WA AFL teams kicked outta the comp...any budding politicians out there

The crowd was dismal at Leederville, considering it was a final. I was waiting for all the resurgent Eagles supporters that apparantley were going to be brought back to the WAFL with the alignment.....:(

I thought Swans and East Freo had a big following what happened there or are they all bastards too. No seriously any answers to that or is that East Perth's fault that your loyal followings didn't turn out. Perhaps if we turn a few rocks over a half dozen more might slither out.

People are too scared to leave home in case they miss out on 5 mins of X Factor. You know those ads we've been copping all week about some "wait to you find out the truth" or some shite like that. Society has now been so well toilet trained we can't afford to let the grip on the remote control go. Hence the isolation people now live in within their own communities. Father's Day footy should have been marketed as just that. Take Dad to the footy this Sunday instead of nothing. Shit even Free Entry should have been offered to Dad's who bring the family and introduce their kids to the comp. You never know, they just might become a fan for life. For a neutral yesterday's EF v SD game would have been highly exciting. It had everything. Nope, lets stay home, watch some AFL shite being played in Adelaide and wait for Ronan and the X factor to tell us 'the truth'....give me a fkn break. Greatest gift my Grand Dad ever gave me was sitting me down in the Macca Stand at Basso as a kid. The theatre in front of me buried any bloody program I'd ever seen on the idiot box. That's how my footy addiction began and in my own bloody community. RIP Grandy....never forgotten
