Once again the WAFL fixturing people have missed out on a cashing in on the AFL split round.
With no AFL games being played in Perth this weekend, only three WAFL games are fixtured.

You would feel they would have a complete round to accommodate our football public. In particular East Perth they would have the WCE supporters coming to watch East Perth or in their minds their reserve team. But they got the bye. Oh stupid of me WCE fans don't care about the WAFL!! Silly me!

The WAFL needs all the help they can get and I feel they have missed out on another opputunity to cash.

Spot on JTT sensational forward thinking by the WAFL they have all these specially named rounds during the year and when the opportunity arises to showcase the comp this is what they serve up, absolute disgrace

There are only three games this weekend because West Perth and East Perth needed the bye in case they were in the Foxtel Cup final.

No foul ups or mismanagement or poor fixturing - and NO, I am NOT sticking up for the WAFL - just giving the FACT of the matter.

Yeah fair call CF....forgot we have to pander to the Tues night TV comp with the ever amazing Victorian commentary....why they don't make it in an Australia wide FA Cup type knock out comp where all clubs except for AFL clubs can compete is the real question. I know clubs earn the right but they do so with the previous years team. Would be great to see a better version and we all love a bit of midweek footy on the box. Pre season matches could possibly be used to thin out the numbers in each state before starting with interstate matches. At least this would give everyone a shot at it as in future we'll probably just see 2 aligned teams representing WA if the WAFC continues to push its not so hidden agenda.
