Raitts tenure as president of the WAFL council ends this year, all I can say is that he has been lacklustre, I'm hoping Raponi gets the job.

Raponi would definitely have a thing or two to say about the competition. Might be good and get more media attention for the WAFL.

I thought Raitt stuck up for the wafl as well as was possible considering what he was up against. Whoever the next president is will have to take the fight up to the afl clubs. I'd like Raponi.

Hope Raponi stays away from it. Always talks down the WAFL in the media. If he gets a bigger platform the comp will be dead in five years.

Disagee Barney. If Raponi gets the gig i think he will be good for the WAFL.

I find it amazing that all the things we have been saying about the alignment , East Perth and Peel being too strong, Players not wanting to stay at those clubs, people like Hagdorn (whom i dont even rate) are now stating the obvious. (all too late).

If you call that sticking up for the WAFL, I'd hate to see someone that lied down for it, he is also driving SFFC into the ground financially .

Barney i think you have either got blinkers on or you head in the sand.
If EP or Peel dont finish top 2 they have under achieved and the Eagles and Dockers will have major depth problems.

Personally - I reckon that WAFL President (of Presidents) caper is a poisoned chalice .... I mean you could get all clubs somewhere close to being on a page then have two creepy farkers , such as Howson & Ditchburn , skank a maggoty deal for themselves at the 11th hour
