15 players this year have been reported and charged on the same rough conduct charge, 12 received reprimands and 3 received suspensions.

Ten weeks and perhaps being hung in forrest chase would be my punishment. He is a filthy player Wulff and deserves to miss this match. He has given nothing to football and surely is the least respected footballer in WA.

I know you are being sarcastic Royal but the rules are the rules. I agree there was no intent of hitting him in the head but the rules clearly say the head is sacrocant.
Intent is of no relevance. Outcome is he got him in the head.
It won't suprise me if he gets off but the reality is he should get done.

I agree there is no way he can get off this sort of charge, it would look bad for this to go unpunished. If he gets off I personally would say that the Eagles and WAFC have conspired to make sure EP win. I think Wulff getting what he deserves will deflate EP and they won't give a whimper come the GF.

Wulf got a reprimand and will play this week.

If you take all the emotion out of it and how unlucky it would have been for a guy such as Wulff to miss a grand final, you would have to question the Match review panel's commitment to protecting the players head by handing him a reprimand. I know the panel will come out with their justification and I don't know what Wulff's record is like, but most fair minded people would agree that the hit deserved at least a week and I'm sure he would have got that if he had done it during the qualifying round.

They have set an interesting precedent now for future incidents
