Yep as I have posted before , the local WAFL response have been totally piss weak.

the SANFL have always looked at how we do things here, then do the opposite.

I am not sure what the setup is in the SANFL with respect to those making decisions about the SANFL. What is patently and completely clear is that the WAFC is totally beholden to the Eagles and Dockers and don't even pay lip service to the WAFL.

Not sure that the WAFC is beholding to the Eagles and the Dockers.

They own them so therefore have a vested interest.

Okay Demon Forever if you don't think the WAFC is beholden to the Eagles and Dockers name one decision in recent times which has been the preferred position of the WAFL clubs as opposed to the preferred position of the Eagles and/or Dockers?

You misinterpreted my post.

The WAFC does are not beholding to them.

They do things that are in the best interests of the Eagles & Dockers because they own them.

Guess where their money comes from?

Stark reality is large proportions of the costs of running the WAFL is funded from the AFL clubs.

That's the new world.

D/F the reason why the WAFC are beholden to the Eagles and Dockers is because it is their votes which put them on the WAFC. Without the support of those AFL clubs' votes they would not be elected. Hence, they are completely compliant and subservient to the wishes and demands of the Eagles and Dockers.

As an example of the above if the WAFC had not ceded to the demands of the Eagles and Dockers regarding the alignment (reserves teams) it would not have had a negative impact on the bottom line of either AFL club.

I don't like the alignment either.

But the WAFL clubs buried their heads in the sand without thought of compromise.

At the end of the day with have to live with each other.

WAFL clubs and the WAFC wouldn't survive financially without the 2 AFL clubs.

That's the reality.

Gee Funny we lasted a long time without them.. But agree mate the WAFL clubs are their own worst enemy and will pay for it and it is just the beginning

Joondalup 20 million grant with 8 million going into WPFC facilities.. Shame no one will be turning up to use them.
