With East Perth having won 5 games by 3 points this year, I'll tip the Royals by 3 points in another tight game and accept that my dodgy ticker might finally say "enough".
Mitch Crowden to win the Simpson Medal and a crowd of 30,250, with a lot of understandably disgruntled Royals fans due to the alignment of a few years ago coming out of the woodwork.  

East Perth ?
Pros: Midfield , Half-back line , Crowden's inside knowledge & Ruckman
Cons: Forward line , some periods of inactivity in games

Mandurah ?
Pros: the VFL contingent , Midfield , entire Backline , 2 big Ruck's available , will attempt to suck opposition in at every opportunity & will get favourable free kicks
Cons: can be jeckyll & hyde in the forward line  

Result ?
East Perth by 12 points ****

**** however to get that East Perth must split the midfield , and Jones must run with Reidy otherwise they will be crushed like ants & Brodie / Erasmus will have to be put on the ground and not allowed to swivel around like the VFL prima donnas do nowadays because the umpires will just allow it to happen time and time again

it'll go to the winner - so either Crowden / Schumacher  - Brodie / Erasmus

The factor?
someone from either side has to kick goals and that'll probably decide it

 

Good analysis Southy. Agree that EP have to get physical to see if the full time AFL prima donna's have an appetite to get down and dirty. EP can't overdo it as the umpires will want to take control but make the dockers earn every disposal.

well there will not be that many Mandurah representatives 
most of those are on annual holidays in Casuarina or Bandyup 
so I'm going to say 18000 and just about all of them East Perth

That's staggering if that's the case, Bazza.
Perhaps some of my Royals brethren have been unable to get bail or have booked dental appointments for the day. 

 

A diehard East Perth mate of mine reckons that as of Tuesday, over 15,000 tickets had been sold.
With 25C forecast for tomorrow, you'd think/hope it will be a 25,000-plus crowd and hopefully crack 30,000.
