Apparently the big state game being played tomorrow. Why the bloody hell a Friday afternoon just leaves one staggered. The total lack of media interest during the week has been nothing short of shameful and embarrassing! Have had the radio turned on all week and not one mention of the big match been heard, which is a huge disappointment to say the least!
Questions need answering as to why that is!
Apparently no damn radio coverage either from what I hear.

won't find much added interest due to the fact that WA isn't even fielding their best - it's been done before but how Jones from East Perth , Bolton from Claremont etc aren't in there just beggars belief
I fear WA will cop a hiding in this one

WAG, isn't the game streamed via the AFL site? But agree very disappointing there is not much media interest in the lead up to the game, sign of the times I guess. Lot of talk about Bolton not getting selected, TBH, you can only select so many mids I guess and from what I have seen, playing a loose man in defence, isn't really classed as being a mid. Surprised that Clarke or Jones aren't playing....though  Eastland isn't a spud either.

Its a curtain raiser to an AFL game so its just a Mid season draft trial match where the AFL scouts can check out the prospects all together in a match scenario. Cynical I know but not far from the truth IMO.

The Wa Captain done an interview on radio, talked very well in the interview.
I believe he will lead Wa to victory. After a number of narrow losses,V SA.
SA lead Wa ,49v 48.

Jupp was convincing and certainly gives the impression we will win. Good on him because it would be terrible to go all that way thinking that you can't win. I gave us little chance but after listening to that interview thought can we? As pointed out though we haven't even picked our best available side. Our preparation like everything else about this match appears substandard. But you never know perhaps the croweaters might be complacent.

For WAFL fans depressing but true. Certainly though should be a stand alone fixture with the venue alternated each year between the two states. Even if a smaller venue (Leederville, Fremantle, Bassendean etc here) is used.

108% directed toward the VFL draft - you cannot even find a line-up , I've never seen such a deplorably poor lead up to State game
WAFC has turned this into a sham , appointing a bum as a coach and managing to trash many years of tradition
these games are where many WA champions announced or at least cemented themselves
would not be a single WAFC cockroach who would realise that

Out of interest when folk say WA hasn't picked their  best available side....who are we talking about? Eastland deserves his spot....he has outpointed both Clarke and Jones this year....

Zac Clarke leads the hitouts after 6 rounds with 249, then Jones on 235 and then way back to Eastland on 206, so just on hitouts they have chosen the 3rd best ruckman. Not saying that Eastland is not a very good player.
