So now we wait and see how many WAFL players will nominate for the mid season draft. Nominations close next Wednesday and the draft will be on 31st May.

Most AFL clubs will have at least one list spot available so we could see up 4 - 6 players taken from their WAFL teams mid season which is very disruptive for planning. Great for the players to get an opportunity I guess but when they are often just replacing a long term injured player (e.g Culley at West Coast) chances are they will get discarded once the player is back and healthy. 

Eight clubs currently have available list spots - Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Giants, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide, Richmond and Footscray.

And from what I heard, no mention of the state game in today's paper? Surely that is incorrect.

So, do you pick players on form or players that you want to display or players you favourer or players that are left over. I don't think the commission takes these game all that seriously/

My only care factor of this match is no injuries to Soks and Giro
