I think it's great that both local clubs have gone mostly for locals, must say though that this draft is rich with local talent so not a hard decision to take. hopefully Greg Clarke gets a gig, preferably not a WA gig, more likely to go to WC, it will be hard enough to deal with if Johnson and Erasmus play in the same Peelmantle team against us.

Agree DD, I reckon Van Rooyen will turn out to be a better player than Amiss, but time will tell.
Amiss sounds like he's a very grounded kid TOO. His parents are raising 5 foster kids and it sounds like Jye is an inspiration to them. I better not go on or I'll start getting emotional. I've got a soft spot for Rhett Bazzo too having lost his Dad Steve not long ago.
Gee I missed that one DD.  What happened to Steve?

Hard to see the 2 subi colts play against subi, but at least we can watch their progress. Glad Clarke got a gig with WC. That will be weird too. But good on Clarke and the Eagles for taking a punt.

Heard him interviewed tonight saying he was only 11 when his Dad passed away so must have been about 7 years ago. I thought it was more recent than that. What a shame his Dad would be so proud of him. He dedicated his drafting to his Dad.
Get on your bike.

Congrats so far to all those WA boys drafted, still time for a few more to be snapped up.....always a few surprises, thought EF Browne, EP Dittmar and SD Chipper were right in the mix, maybe in the rookie draft today.......Corey Warner joins his brother Chad at Sydney, whilst Taj Woewodin retraces his dad's steps at Melbourne.

Peel and WCE have been boosted with some good talent....Johnson and Erasmus at Peel and Hough, Williams and Bazzo at WCE......not sure SD and EF need to give WCE anything else player wise for 2022.

Absolutely stoked for young Bazzo, he has the potential to be a 10 year player for the Eagles
Great crop of young guys from WA this year. The Dockers have got themselves 4  really good ones
Also delighted for Greg Clark, its a testament to the fact that if you work hard enough, 2nd chances can come your way.
