Let’s see who originates from a WAFL club and which clubs will likely benefit from getting them back for WAFL matches and who the interstaters are who will be disbursed among a few of the bottom 4 clubs (excluding Peel).

This is going to benefit C and WP. Waterman and Langdon will play a lot of WAFL. Very likely SPS will as well. Jamieson likewise, but I doubt he's good enough to play for the league team. WP will get some decent time out of Foley, West and Rotham. With those guys plus Meadows, Johnson and Hutchings, WP may challenge the big 3.

Ted IMHO that is why we can't rely purely on 4-5 WCE listed players.
We need to recruit to our needs and then maybe pick up a couple as a bonus as they may be in and out of the team.
This has not been a glowing success for us in the past.

i think sps needs to be added into claremont's list.when you look at the wce interstate half won't play wafl unless coming back from injury.with the beagles gone i think a top 4 should be introduced next year.

Luke Foley is from $ubi

It was only a couple of years ago that the whole WCE squad was on EP list, and they didn't dominate the comp.

I can think of one player previously who was switched to us (Perth) because Claremont didn’t think he was good enough for their league side, Casey Sibosado. Could we end up with 200cm Jamieson at Perth? I’d be picking Isiah Winder who won’t play for Peel while they are aligned with Fremantle 

DF, SPS is Petrevksi-Seton. I never said we could rely on Eagles players. I was and will always be anti-alignment. I can live with a proposal to disperse players throughout the bottom 4 or 5 teams. (I agree with Chaddy about top 4 - it is a bit silly to have more than half the comp playing finals. Plus there is usually a big gulf between 4th and 5th.) We have to do some serious recruiting this year. If we get lucky with an Eagles player or two, who play mostly WAFL, and play well, fine, but in DD's list there are probably only 6 interstate players who will play regular WAFL and we would have no more than two of them.
