42 it forever intrigues me that SD are the club that always cops it in the neck whenever there is a redistribution of WAFL zones.
We were the first club to be formed away from the Perth - Fremantle rail line, setting up in a new area (Swan Valley, Hills, Midland/Guildford/Bassendean) and yet that is now being slowly taken away from us for having the foresight to start up in the far NE suburbs.
Interestingly the WAFC never seem to take teams off either WP or Peel who followed suit long after SD in establishing up in a new area?!
The recent claim of Caversham will be moved from SD is just about the last straw if correct, how on earth can you force a club based a few torpedo punts from Basso Oval to move to another WAFL club based 20km away?
Absolutely crazy stuff!

obviously  with the growth of newer suburbs i doubt swans will be the only club affected.eventually subi's zones will have to shift further north into west perth's zone and claremont further up into subi's zone.east perth further into swans zone.perth can only go a couple of ways either east into swans zone via wattle grove and forrestfield or further south into armadale and beyond.five clubs have their zones on the outer fringes of  perth.unfortunately the other four in perth east  perth subi and claremont. are boxed in.i doubt the wafc will abolish  peel.if they stay aligned maybe a smaller zone?

Well said. The growth from let’s say Jandakot to Mandurah is massive from Albany Hwy Byford along the freeway to Mandurah and the coast. That means thousands and thousands of new young families in the decades to come and let’s not forget south on Mandurah, Halls Head, Dawesville, Pinjarra and from the hills in Serpentine down to Baldivis which is fricken massive and all those coastal suburbs between Safety Bay and Mandurah.

Who is raking in these growth area’s? Must be split between South and Peel. So Perth needs to pinch a few off South and a few off EF and EF can get a couple of South’s old traditional junior zones like Hilton, Hammy Hill etc…

I want any of Canningvale, Riverton, Willetton, Southern River, Seville Grove, Harrisdale, Piara Waters and Byford. Can hand us back Armadale and Kelmscott.

The big problem is no club is relocating in these areas.

Chaddy, Grump do you think East Perth might look at relocating alongside the new Ellenbrook railway line in say Brabham? That would be a masterstroke.
Get on your bike.

this question keeps coming up at every agm.both east perth ans subi would like a peppercorn lease from the city of vincent so as to bring leederville oval up to standard.city of vincent doesn't want to do anything nowadays including picking up the commercial waste of businesses.whiteman park and wellington square have been mentioned but unless government money is included i doubt it will happen.i think our swans friends will be upset if we move to whiteman park as they won't be able to say that averley, caversham, ellenbrook are a few drop punts from bogandean oval.

I am not sure what EPFC will do next week let alone next year or further into the future.

I wonder sometimes if they are waiting for some sought of miracle for the past few years to resolve the issue. Brabham might be a bit far but the lite rail might resolve that, Lightning Park might have been the go but with the redevelopment of tonkin and reid might make that a bit harder to get to!

To be perfectly honest I just like going to the games and watching the outcomes and effort by all involved, my interest in anything else to do with the club has been eroded. Whatever they decide to do will be in someones best interest and whomever that is good luck to them.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended
