Didn’t follow a VFL team prior to WCE joining the competition.
Enjoyed going to State of Origin games and was interested in how our local team would go against the VFL teams week in week out.
Watching team mates and opponents play for WCE made it even more interesting.
Claremont games every Saturday, followed by Sunday lunch and a few beers with mates at WCE home games every second week was a good weekend of footy.

Subi had a lot running around in the VFL to start with, so I liked to watch them play. Dont follow either club but enjoy it when either beats the Vic based teams.
