Does everybody remember Dorrington commentating on a state game in Hobart where he referred to WA as 'westar'? His tasmanian counterpart criticised him, asking if they were playing against WA or not. Needless to say, the state side loss the game, morale being so poor within the WA-FL community at the time.

Anyone got pictures of the old and the new to compare?

Maybe we should ask Nisi what he thinks given he'll be making the final decision?

It was nice to see he supports an independent WAFC. That'll make a great change from what it's been for the last three decades.

Don't wish to get off topic here.
Just seen some of the above video and the WA state guernsey left a lot to be desired.
Surely to christ someone back in the day would have asked why, oh why?
That got me thinking of other dubious decisions made by the "so called football commission" over the years. Then earlier in the week, someone posted a comment about never having been consulted or surveyed by anyone from the WAFC about his thoughts on the WAFL's direction.
I have for a l o n g time thought Wafl fans should have a meaningful say and have input into officialdoms decisions that affect our game. After all, footy is for the fans is it not?
Perhaps my comments are discussion for another topic.
