That distinctive Black Swan in a W shape with a football at the top of his left wing.
It was 10000000 times better than that awful looking stylised current one!

Yes, but to do that we're going to need to get WAFL patriots running the WAFC and not some marketing spiv or the AFL praetorian guard like we've had for the past few decades.

I really hate the Waffle thing as well, and yes many a year I went it was still WANFL...

Baz: yep, I think they changed it in 79 if I am reading the old 'football registers' correctly -- just before I started to follow the league myself.

Have never been a fan of the current design and is a leftover from the stupid westar rules name that was adopted for 2 or 3 seasons many sunrises ago.
The question is - what can be done to change it back?

How life changes.
Vince Yovich did his stint as President of the WA National FL.
I am not sure but I think he went on to serve on the Australian National Football League.
Not certain but maybe someone with a better memory than mine may be able to confirm.
That was in the days when all the stake holders had a say.
Of course here in WA it all change to bureaucracy when the WCE went broke.
Now the Clubs have no say.
We are ruled by the likes of Dorrington.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

They do that online monkey survey that never asks any real hard questions about the WAFL.
I have by my own club but never the WAFC!

BH around 60 years of game memories for me, it started as the WANFL, note that SA is still the SANFL, and we ask why SA continually does things better than WA regarding state footy. Sometimes i think we'd be better off being run by the SANFL as a subsidiary, cant be any worse that the clusterfuck we have now.
