I don't think that will be the case Baz. We were a bit scratchy against an undermanned East Freo on Saturday and a third of last years GF team has moved on or is injured. IMO Souths, Claremont, Perth, WP will all challenge in a truncated season.

Thats nice of you BC but the 104 point GF record winning margin will be challenged again by $ubi in 2020.

Yes it is boring winning too often & watching opposing supporters leaving early after 1/2 time. Boring winning is better than happy losing

Bazza, it's all part of the rhythm of a WAFL season. Each Friday BC will post "Well, it's a real danger game against C this weekend, we'll need to be at our very best." Then on Monday: "We were lucky enough to get away with a 10 goal win, but if we play like that against WP we'll be trouble." Then after the WP game: "Surprised we were able to win by as much as 12 goals, but no doubt SF next week will be a sterner test." Rinse and repeat up to and including GF day.

The only thing stopping the all time record margin being broken for the GF mate will be the shortened quarters.
Subi will go through the season undefeated for another year and win the GF by 90 points!

I guess this pearl of wisdom is for the benefit of Subi supporters - they seem as bored as everyone else and can't be arsed showing up.

You lot crack me up....if I play down Subi's dominance you reckon I'm taking the piss....if I embrace their performances you reckon I'm arrogant....I can't win either way but hey, that's what you get when opposition supporters are jealous of another team's success.

Our last 3 games against Subi have been pretty close - 8, 24 and 3 point losses. I'm looking forward to see if we've bridged the gap against the competition benchmark or still have more work to do this weekend.
