Yesterday's match? Don't ask - shock loss to the sharks. Enthusiasm will only take Subi so far. They have done well to get this much out of the limited amount of talent that they have - but sadly they will definitely drop games during the season. As I tap this out I can almost hear the collective groans. They have won hearts and minds but they won't be winning any flags this year.

So Ti Em, how many of your precious little boys did big bad Subi hospitalise with their overly vigorous manly game plan? Did you have your "stars" hiding in the back of the change rooms for fear of getting a nasty bruise?

No serious casualties that i know of thank goodness and thanks for your concern. Montaubin looks to have pulled a hamstring in the 2nd quarter trying to break the shackles of the Subiaco stop start tactics designed to nullify our players innate flair. There was a scare very early on when our star recruit and half back upon his very first touch for the game mysteriously ended up with sore ribs but seems to have escaped serious injury or just played on. Your ruckman did use Big Jon Griffin's groin as a springboard in the 3rd term at a ball up which i doubt would of tickled but he battled on and was probably one of our better players in the surprise loss. The injury prone Nick Kommer did not appear to finish the game out - though he may of been sent to join the other stars being rested for next Saturdays derby. Pointless risking him against an agricultural side like Subi especially when we were clearly having an off day.

I don't subscribe to the theory that Subi's continual success since 2004 has anything to do with the corporate sign corporate box sign slush fund.I believe the sustained excellence can be attributed to their amazing coaching selection process which first netted PETER GERMAN [who inexplicably failed at Peel],Scotty ''smurf Waters[who inexplicably got sacked at the SAINTS]J.Schofield and now the irrepressible Beau Wardman who thankfully left umpiring to find his true vocation in coaching where he is destined for great things!, so to the WAFC and all the naysayers its all about the coaches not the points cap DUMMIES!

Yes I walked past the players box in front of the rooms at one stage TM and it was very strange seeing all your so called stars watching from the side lines. It reminded me of Trump hiding in the bunker at the WH when Lafayette Park was going off...very odd indeed.

Very droll RL...but funnily enough you are right in the sense that Germo started the process to make Subi "the best state league team in Australia"....Xavier Ellis' words not mine. The rest is history.

What Trump hiding or Bill resting some of our so called stars for the derby? Tell you what was alarming was some of the stars of tomorrow boozing in the bar during the unofficial league game. Hardly what i would called re-hydrating after you have been running around for 100 minutes! The Colts have the right idea and eat a hamburger.

Whole season will be over in a flash with Subi a foregone conclusion.

Interest is purely a social catch up with mate and occasional inter club rivals.
