Hey Rick I don't post on this every week but I always check in to see how the virtual competition is going. The ladder is very even at the moment with only two games between top and 8th. Would be great if you could play the season out even when we get back to live action in August. Interesting to see who turns out to be the premiers.
Fantastic idea and good work!

Thanks Mike

You’d expect the season to level out based on overall W/L records as the teams with better records overall have higher chance of winning from the random draws - but it sure is getting tight - I have done the fixtures and results for the next round, not on site until Saturday, but some more interesting results are evening up the ladder even more.

Could be an exciting finish.

My website stats show a good number of visitors despite the lack of replies here, hence I keep going. That last round was supposed to be a split round but I combined them and will do so for the next split round.

Based on the original 2020 fixtures there’s 10 rounds left plus finals, rounds 14&15 are another set of split fixtures so I’ll also combine those so I have 9 rounds plus finals. Finals will be last week of July with GF on 31/7

So the plan is as follows
Round 10 (original round 11) 13/6
Round 11 (12) 20/6
Round 12 (13) 27/6
Round 13 (14 & 15) 4/7
Round 14 (16) 11/7
Round 15 (17) 12/7
Round 16 (18) 18/7
Round 17 (19) 19/7
Round 18 (20) 25/7
EF & QF Mon 27/7
1SF Tues 28/7
2SF Wed 29/7
PF Thu 30/7
GF Fri 31/7

Thanks for your support

Ric

Gee what a balltearer that SF vs CL match in 1980 would have been.
43 goals kicked between both sides in front of 13k at the Port.
Roger Podolczak kicked 4 in one of his only 2 games at Tigerland, from memory was "on loan" from NM at the time.
