We should get a better idea of where both Thornlie and Bassendean sit this week. Probably MOTR and see Bassendean getting up.

Gosnells should get over Carlisle at home.

Bull Creek having a cracking start to the year should win over Ocean Ridge.

Kenwick having a shocking start and expect Melville in a canter.

Warnbro vs Hamersley is harder. Warnbro would be very disappointed to be 0 and 2 and Hamersley probably fortunate to be 1 and 1. Expect Warnbro to break their drought.

Coin toss Basso and Thornlie for me, both look good. Basso 3 goals only because they are at home.

Gosnells scrapped in and Carlisle did somewhat compete last week. Carlisle 2 goals.

Bullcreek's bubble to burst up at the oversized paddock Ridge call home. Ridge 4 goals.

Kenwick having a mare of a start to the year and the Rams are up and about. Melville 15 goals at least. (id go 20 but didn't wanna be too crazy)

Warnbro froth not having to travel and will bounce back to some form over HC down there. Warnbro 5 goals.

My tips for this week, for what they are worth......

Thornlie v Basso looks to be a ripper on paper, both sides with one win and only percentage seperating the two teams. Basso is the home team, but I will be picking Thornlie only because sides tend to win when they part ways with their coach. Thornlie in a close one.

I expect Gosnells at home to continue their early season form, This will be closer than people may think and the week off could work in Carlisle's favour.

I reckon Bullcreek will have to much fire power for Ocean Ridge. Its interesting that Ridge has not won a league game yet their reserves are undefeated. The reserves match should be a slobber knocker to quote my old friend Jim Ross from the WWE days.

Melville will continue on with their unbeaten ways, it could be a long day for Kenwick in all three grades.

Warnbro should get over the top of Hammersley. I base this on the fact Warnbro were good in round 1 at home against Gosnells and Hammersley have only beaten Kenwick this year. If Warnbro can tiughten their leaky defence they will get a well deserved win.

Good luck to everyone, enjoy ANZAC round and play in the appropriate spirits. I look forward to hearing other peoples opinions for round three and even some writeups after the round of games they watched.

Play hard and enjoy the beers afterwards

There are three things you can guarantee in life. Death, taxes and the Kenwick football club starting another brawl once they started losing. They are not a c1 one club in any way, shape or form.

Is Ash McGrath still down at Kenwick?

Any write up's from the weekend's games?

Looking at the ladder either Bullcreek or Gosnells will have their winning start to the season ended on Saturday afternoon this week.

Yes McGrath is still playing and breaking people’s noses with jumper punches while he’s at it

Its not a real game of footy v Kenwick unless someone ends up with a broken nose.

Sounds to me like Melville are a little frustrated with getting roughed up

i was actually down at Gosnells on the weekend to watch the Carlisle v Gosnells game.

first half was a tight slog with Gosnells managing to get in front by a couple goals then Carlisle coming back at them.
Second half was a bit different with Gosnells running away with the game to get a comfortable win.
not sure either side played their best in this game though.

Ridge coach breathed more fire after the teams loss on saturday than what was evident at the Battle of Winterfell on Monday - not a happy camper at all but i guess an 0-3 start will do that... fair way back already for OR and staring at a familiar C1 campaign after a pre-season that promised so much.
