GR - From the outside looking in it is a very confusing look when you look at OR. league have started 0-3 but been competitive where as the reserves are 3-0 with a massive percentage. Surely they have players in the reserves that should be playing in the league side.
im sure the league side will win games throughout the year.

The OR league side could very easily be 2 and 1. Bit more luck any everything changes. Rd1 from reports they were down to having no bench at half time and the other two games they've lost by under a goal.

They've always seemed to have quite a strong ressies side going round.

We've had to answer this every year for about the past 5. The best 22 players available each week play in the league side, the next best 22 in the reserves. What it shows is good depth. I'd like to hear a single valid argument why a club would stack their reserves in the first 3 rounds, it's ridiculous.

Here’s a valid argument : So you can win another ressies flag, which is what the club is about. What’s the record on that one? Last 5 years league flags V ressies flags?

No, that's a ridiculous argument. If that's what the club was about, we wouldn't need to win 18 reserves games to get into finals.

I asked for a valid one.

Banga they got pretty darn close last year in League and from memory I'm sure they played off in another grand final not too many years ago ??
As Vicko said, I think their ressies success is just a product of having some good depth. League flags are bloody tough to win.
