GSC - Why don't you quit your Dianella bashing and have something constructive to say? What would your team do if one of your colt age league players has been given a cheap shot? Fly the flag for your team?

When you walk onto the field as a league player you accept responsibility of what happens no matter the age as long as it is within the rules. Cheap shots are not within the rules and it is really tough to throw one at a colt.

I cant think of a specific example but I'm sure there is precedent for the team in front at the time of the melee being awarded the points. Not to further the argument but I'm sure it was a Dianella game this happened in a couple of years ago?

We played Dianella in round 1 and they seemed like a decent bunch of blokes. Good clean game of footy.

What if it is found that the team in front at the time was the cause of the fight/brawl/melee?

Heard a rumor that it was the Balla faithful that stormed the ground during the brawl. Can't imagine this to be true...Such a controlled mob at Kingfisher usually.

That rumor would be spot on the truth, good to see GSC managed not to mention that. No doubt he/she will deny this or say DM spectators threw the Balla spectators in the brawl or threw grass clipping boondys at them. Not 1 DM spectator entered the playing surface, can Balla say the same???

I was at the game...no Ballajura spectators involved. The correct decision was made to abandon the match as the umpires had no control of what was happening.

I do know how the brawl began and could even comment, but that would be pointless, and is likely to further agitate some of members on this forum.

Anyway, lets look forward to this week. Best of luck to all teams!!!

Why don't the umps sit back and write down numbers.... then walk into the changerooms and tell the clubs that these blokes have been reported. 4 each team brings it back to 18 each. Safety first. This is the only way we can remove this rubbish from our grade.

The umps need to take control and at half time pulled a side the coaches, captins, and club presidents and tolled them to pull there heads in!
Not a good look for the game, and for the young ones that come down to watch.
