No point dropping them down as the next week only 2 can go back up if the old bylaw relating to that is still in action.

Something like that - drop as many as you like but only 2 up the next game.

Can’t be bothered looking into right now but I’m sure someone will.

Can’t believe 1 of the C4 side didn’t want to come up to C3.....

How? And when did they try this?
If the thirds got into a grade by playing in the GF of the grade below the previous year, it's no different to any other 1's team that goes up and isn't quite up to the new level. Remembering that it only happens if they have a fourths, they would also have depth of numbers for the thirds. Plenty of teams bounce between 2 grades for a number of years as they are just in that space where they're at the top of the lower grade, but bottom 2 of the next grade up.

The fourths getting smashed is no different to current 2's getting smashed because they have to follow their 1's.

E3 results 2015-
Forrestfield finished on top and lost to Curtin in GF.
POS TEAM W L For Agst % PTS
1 Forrestfield (E3) 15 1 1572 314 500.64 60
2 Curtin Uni Wesley (E2) 13 3 1387 585 237.09 52
3 West Coast (E1) 12 4 1235 679 181.89 48
Curtin are in E2 this year.
West Coast in E1 and
Forrestfield are in E3.
Makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

From the by-laws this year the even up rule has been added for C4 and "F" grade as well as colts.
what is F Grade? Are they talking the D/E grades or E3 which used to be the old F troop?

other thing is the rule when there is a bye that Whitey was talking about.
3 or more can go down but only 2 at a time can come back up IF it is a forfeit or a bye on the higher grade team. Players can go up and down in general if all teams are playing.

Don't worry i found it ... it is the over 28's league they were talking about last year. I haven't seen fixtures and didn't know it was a real thing.

B2.1.8 F Grade Mens shall be a restricted age competition. A player shall have attained
the minimum age of 28 to play in any F Grade Mens match.
