I thought Norandas penalty was dropping 1 grade C1 to C2?

They were going to be C2 + R but another bunch of lads have left to go elsewhere leaving them short of 2 full teams. Rather than try and get double ups like last year they pulled the second team.

Our 5s and 6s played last year in the D2 & D2R comp.

I knew there was another colts side and assumed there was more seniors. They just dont have them up yet.

Who else is in the E3 this year?

Damn they must have lost a lot of players......a big fall from being so strong last year
Never really liked them as a club but can't help feeling sorry for so many blokes who probably had nothing to do with whatever shenanigans the knuckleheads running the joint were up to

I thought D1 was used for the extra team out of A grade?

It’s for any club with thirds and fourths who just happen to be all A and B grade KTB

Swan Valley, Jandakot, Gosnells, ECU, Belmont, Ellenbrook, SNESA, Brentwood, Melville, Piara, North Beach but fair chance that'll change

I suppose they are still sorting it out.
1 Forrestfield (E3)
2 Ellenbrook (E3)
3 Melville (E3)
4 Gosnells (E3)
5 Ecu (E3)
6 Swan Valley (E3)
7 Piara Waters (E3)
8 Jandakot (E3)
9 North Beach (E3)
10 Belmont
11 SNESA
12 Brentwood

Blunder wrote: Redlegs, that works fine when there is a D2 comp, but we don't have that this year. Is there a relegation/promotion proposed for D1 at the end of this year? Or are those clubs who have 4 teams destined to stay in D1 until there are more clubs with the same amount of teams?

I hear what everyone is saying about the benefits of having your thirds/fourths play at the same ground when it comes to resources. I still think clubs would go to this extra effort for the sake of a fairer grade comp.

I can also understand why the clubs with 5 or 6 senior teams are not fussed by the current system or D1 fixture as they will ultimately be the stronger ones in that D grade comp.

Wanneroo to C4 is an absolute gap-filler with no regard to how we will fit into that grade.

Wanneroo's 3s & 4s shouldn't be in C4. No clubs 3s & 4s should play in a competition made up solely of other clubs 1s & 2s but the WAAFL wouldn't have put Wanneroo there without the club agreeing. I'd presume Wanneroo would have been offered C4 with the teams together or E2 and E3 with the teams split most weeks. But they should be accommodated in the D grade comps.

Last year Scarbs, Whitfords and Wembley struggled in both the D1 & D1R. North Freo dominated D2 & D2R and should have been in D1 instead of Scarbs whilst Whitfords 5s & 6s struggled. Looks like Scarbs and Kingsway have dropped their 4s and Whitfords their 5s and 6s this year.

Wouldn’t having 12 in the e1 Comp make more sense than 12 in e3. Surely 2 more teams could go up into e1 from e2 or is the jump really that big?

Pretty sure they try to keep the higher grades to 10 sides so everyone plays each other twice with the lower grades (C4 / E3) having the uneven numbers
