Seriously, how many game does everyone expect these old timers to play?
This is a very well planned recruitment stunt, which has grabbed a large amount of media attention.
Well done to the club and its community leaders for this and I hope it all works out.
WA Footy needs some positive media attention and the area needs some positive role models to help the younger generation stay involved in football.

Positive role models hmmm... after catching a nolla game last year I didn't see any "positive role model" stuff happening on field. Or off field. Maybe this year will be different ...

Freekick I don’t think too many clubs would be willing to give much info just yet. From looking at the clearance page I see there is more than a few ex WAFL players coming back to community football which is great to see. (Including Sandilands younger brother to canning South Perth)As for C2 we’ll not too much to report, a few scratchies due soon which will be interesting to see results if clubs would like to share.

Canning have recruited a number of players from country leagues by the look of the clearances!

I’m sure the tiger on ballers are looking forward to having the ball put on a platter to them, what’s Sandilands 210cm. Good luck to the other ruckman competing against that, also a few nervous defenders if/when he rest forward.

Surely a rumour.... don't they have a strong juniors link??
They have had 3 x senior teams for a while with the colts around for a while also and in the grandy last year.

They will struggle to field two teams. They have lost a huge amount of players over the summer so this is unsurprising to me. Not to say they can't build it back up again but when you lose that quantum in one hit, any medium sized club would struggle!
