Would only effect C3 you would think, now a side gets relegated that didn’t think they were going to.....

Depends what happens with Kelmscott you would think, if they are no longer in the grades above then only 1 will come down.

This decision could also effect Maddington, they are the club that wanted the merger to go ahead as they are struggling for numbers, It could be a watch this space situation going forward for both clubs.

I'm sure the no vote has a lot of ramifications to all concerned.

Maddington have a few ex WAFL players that could jump over to kelmscott to chase $$$ maybe?

Its been confirmed on Maddington a Facebook page. They contacted Piara Waters on Friday and called off the amalgamation.

I'm looking forward to 2018 more PH, especially after my club's season.

Kelmscott might not be an option KTB unless they are looking at the Peel comp. From what I have heard, there would be a few hurdles to them being WAAFL-affiliated for 2018. If the word I heard was correct (and I stand to be corrected if it is wrong), they would have to give the league assurances on relevant criteria and if they could meet all of these, then their admission request would then have to be approved by the clubs.

I know they are firm old enemies but would a Maddington merger with next door neighbours Kenwick, Gosnells or even Kelmscott be more realistic or appropriate than with Piara Waters?
