Well to say MrM has had a good week would be an understatement. Firstly it started with MrM finding our his beloved Roos are in the Grand Finals but then MrM got some better news, my first ever international Tinder match. I know what you’re thinking, surely you’ve done well before MrM, well yes I have OzFooty fans, but this is a first.
Aside from that, the football this weekend is as equally tantalising and mouth-watering. We see 3 different clubs involved but with 3 very interesting games coming up. MrM hasn’t had a good chance to witness all of these sides playing, but let me tell you, looking at the scores you will see that each and every game could come down to the wire.
Last but not least, it’s with great sadness MrM will be moving on next season, but I am sure someone can pick up this heavy burden, Colonel Clink do not sell yourself short, MrM thinks you are more than capable. MrM also leaves behind his 2 favourite WAAFL B Grade footballers, in “The Bonce” from Collegians and “The Big Yuke” with the “Brothers of Destruction” a close 3rd and 4th.
Let us have a look at this weekend’s fixtures; it’s enough to make even the sternest man smile.
Colts
Wanneroo v Swan Athletic @East Fremantle Oval
This could very well be the game of the day with both these sides facing each other 4 times this season with the last 3 being decided by the last kick of the game (well close enough anyway). Wanneroo got the edge when they managed to win in Extra Time a few weeks ago, a week off would have given them time to refresh and reload. They do face a very good Swan Athletic side that will no doubt be firing this Saturday as they will look to avenge their last loss. It will be a tough tight game with it coming down to the wire, but Wanneroo will look to get the win here.

Reserves
Wanneroo v Kingsway @East Fremantle Oval
Just to think if a kick after the siren in the Elimination final went differently, Kingsway wouldn’t be here. Wanneroo have only played 1 game in 3 weeks but it was a tough encounter against a Swan Ath side that couldn’t make the most of their opportunities. They will be refreshed after a week off and will be looking to continue their form on the back half of the season where they only dropped the one game. Stopping them though will be a Kingsway side riding that wave of momentum after some very good finals wins in recent weeks. If they play to their best ability it will make for very entertaining football. I think Wanneroo will win here.

Kingsway v Wanneroo @East Fremantle Oval FOTW
Well no surprises here, all on the line plenty on offer for both side, that’s why it’s this week’s Final Of The Week.
MrM remembers reading a few months ago that it was looking like a North Fremantle v Kingsway Grand Final, but Wanneroo came along and ruined the plans. Kingsway have been up and about all season and managed to pinch top spot in the last few Rounds to cap off a good year. They have a very good midfield with some potent forwards and have managed to be playing good football when it’s needed so far this season. Equally Wanneroo managed to shrug off some early season struggles but have played good football when it has counted. Who can get the ball out of the midfield and to the forwards will do themselves a huge favour in determining the winner of this game (Super Coach MrM...). It will no doubt come down to the wire as their previous 2 contests have as well as the previous B Grade Grand Finals in recent memory where they have been decided by less than a kick. A safe bet would be a Roos victory, but it’s the ones from Wanneroo who will win here.
