Well it all comes down to saturday in front of a bumper crowd in the sunshine at Moss Street.

Colts- Wanneroo have been in my opinion the best colts side all year & will get the job done where it counts. Wanneroo def Swan Ath by 2 Goals

Ressies- Kingsway have came from the elimination final to the big dance and will fancy their chances here. Wanneroo finished top for a reason and will win in the game of the day. Wanneroo by 2 Points.

League- This is shaping up as thriller, the only thing that will spilt these sides is the fitness. Wanneroo have played 3 weeks of very tough football whilst kingsway only had the one game.
Kingsway to take the flag with them to A Grade. Kingsway by 3 Goals.

Thanks for starting the thread Boothead.

Colts - Ripping way to start a great Grand final day. The two best teams all year and both deserve the win. Both are well coached and have talent. however there can only be one winner and I am going with Wanneroo by less than a kick.
Reserves - We kick off the battle of the Roos. Do not discount momentum here for Kingsway, coming from the elimination final is a huge effort and they should be congratulated. However I think the effort it has taken to get here will be too much. Wanneroo has had a great season and should get the win in another tight one. Wanneroo 2 goals.
League - Onto the big show, gez this is a mouth watering contest, I'm big Kev excited for this game. These 2 sides always have great battles and to face off in a grand final is going to be huge. Both teams hit the game in great touch and should be full of confidence. This will come down to the last kick in the final minutes of what will be a tough and tight game. Wanneroo by 3 points.

Good luck to all the teams on Saturday.
It is great to see these two clubs heading into A Grade and continuing their fierce rivalry next year.

It's timeeeeeeeee, 21 weeks of pushing and shoving to see who sits where and who is ready to join the big boys in the big leagues. I've been around the ammos for a long time now and have seen my fair share of finals, but in terms of turn outs, this could take the cake. Ive seen both fan bases over the years and know that it will be chockers come 12.30 saturday. Boothead very surprised you havent backed your boys in the 2s, best keep your identity quiet down at kingsway they will be after ya. All 3 games will be massive saturday so lets get into them.

Colts: Wanneroo have played Ath 4 times this season already and other than the first game of the season where Ath won by 5 goals the scores have been all under a goal with the last one an extra time victory for the roos. After the last bruising encounter the grape pickers will be steaming for revenge but the roos would have seen them set up last week ans will have them covered by 2 points. This will be another rip snorter to start the day.

Ressies: both encounters have been tight between the 2 and with kingsway in the league grandy, they are sure to have a couple of inclusions from last week. Wanneroo only playing one game in 3 weeks could see them start slow but i think will still have the better calibre of players which will see them win by 4 goals.

League: after the roos came from behind last week, they will need to have rested up for another bruising encounter this week. Kingsway would have studies every little part of them but will the one game in 3 weeks hurt them? I think in the league encounter it will. Both margins have been 3 points this year so why should this one be any different. Ill go Wanneroo by 3 points this time making it a big day North at the showgrounds.

Its unfortunate that this game couldn't be played at Arena with all teams north but apparently East freo earlier in the season put up 10k to host the B grade grandy. This suits Frank anyway its a long way North to arena so ill enjoy the short trip to Shark Park. Maybe with Woewodin down at the maggies they thought it be a good idea to get North a home grandy in a way, looks like that back fired but either way its probably going to be bigger now. Im expecting 2500 to 3000 people there

Good luck all grades. Frank is out

Frank: after a shocking effort to conceal your identity this year, picking Wanneroo in all 3 GF’s should confirm to everyone who you’re affiliated with. A great effort by your Roo’s to make 3 gf’s.

As for my tip, I think Kingsway will get sprung for paying multiple players, will forfeit the game and get sent to C3 were they have played most of their history.

Sad to see MrM leave the B grade comp thread, will need someone to step up and take his place next year…..
Will it be the Colonel?…..
I doubt it

I'd love to know of these players that kingsway have "paid". Didnt know developing local talent through your junior club was "paying players".

FYI, Kingsway have been an amateur club since 2008, where they started in D Grade the equivilent of c3 today and have made A Grade within 10 years. You are a flog.

Well to say MrM has had a good week would be an understatement. Firstly it started with MrM finding our his beloved Roos are in the Grand Finals but then MrM got some better news, my first ever international Tinder match. I know what you’re thinking, surely you’ve done well before MrM, well yes I have OzFooty fans, but this is a first.

Aside from that, the football this weekend is as equally tantalising and mouth-watering. We see 3 different clubs involved but with 3 very interesting games coming up. MrM hasn’t had a good chance to witness all of these sides playing, but let me tell you, looking at the scores you will see that each and every game could come down to the wire.

Last but not least, it’s with great sadness MrM will be moving on next season, but I am sure someone can pick up this heavy burden, Colonel Clink do not sell yourself short, MrM thinks you are more than capable. MrM also leaves behind his 2 favourite WAAFL B Grade footballers, in “The Bonce” from Collegians and “The Big Yuke” with the “Brothers of Destruction” a close 3rd and 4th.

Let us have a look at this weekend’s fixtures; it’s enough to make even the sternest man smile.

Colts

Wanneroo v Swan Athletic @East Fremantle Oval

This could very well be the game of the day with both these sides facing each other 4 times this season with the last 3 being decided by the last kick of the game (well close enough anyway). Wanneroo got the edge when they managed to win in Extra Time a few weeks ago, a week off would have given them time to refresh and reload. They do face a very good Swan Athletic side that will no doubt be firing this Saturday as they will look to avenge their last loss. It will be a tough tight game with it coming down to the wire, but Wanneroo will look to get the win here.
Wanneroo by 7 points

Reserves

Wanneroo v Kingsway @East Fremantle Oval

Just to think if a kick after the siren in the Elimination final went differently, Kingsway wouldn’t be here. Wanneroo have only played 1 game in 3 weeks but it was a tough encounter against a Swan Ath side that couldn’t make the most of their opportunities. They will be refreshed after a week off and will be looking to continue their form on the back half of the season where they only dropped the one game. Stopping them though will be a Kingsway side riding that wave of momentum after some very good finals wins in recent weeks. If they play to their best ability it will make for very entertaining football. I think Wanneroo will win here.

Well no surprises here, all on the line plenty on offer for both side, that’s why it’s this week’s Final Of The Week.
MrM remembers reading a few months ago that it was looking like a North Fremantle v Kingsway Grand Final, but Wanneroo came along and ruined the plans. Kingsway have been up and about all season and managed to pinch top spot in the last few Rounds to cap off a good year. They have a very good midfield with some potent forwards and have managed to be playing good football when it’s needed so far this season. Equally Wanneroo managed to shrug off some early season struggles but have played good football when it has counted. Who can get the ball out of the midfield and to the forwards will do themselves a huge favour in determining the winner of this game (Super Coach MrM...). It will no doubt come down to the wire as their previous 2 contests have as well as the previous B Grade Grand Finals in recent memory where they have been decided by less than a kick. A safe bet would be a Roos victory, but it’s the ones from Wanneroo who will win here.

A shoutout to all MrM’s followers thank you for your support throughout MrM’s tenure as Premium WAAFL B Grade writer.
Lastly MrM was sent some vital information last week as North Fremantle released a social calendar in early August. Keys dates coming up – September 9th ALL GRADES GRAND FINALS...Well sorry to spoil the party North Freo, but I think you will get a good strong contingent @D2 Grand Finals.

Was never aware of Kingsways affiliation with C3 but there you go. You learn something knew every day.

For tips-
Colts-Wanneroo V Swan Ath: Chan't really go against Wanneroo here. Hardened bodies and should take home the biscuts here.

Reserves- Wanneroo V Kingsway: Well, Wanneroo would not expect to play kingsway this week, and kingsway have a lot of momentum heading in. Last time these 2 played it made for a great encounter down at Kingsway. And i'm tipping Kingsway for the win here. Momentum is a big thing come finals.

League- Kingsway V Wanneroo: A grade bound for these 2 mighty NOR clubs. Wanneroo have played some good footy in finals this year from what I have seen and that makes it a great encounter. In saying that I think Kingsway will be far to polished and will get the Win here by a couple of straight kicks.

Here we go

Maybe North Freo can film the game for both clubs from the air Mr M???? As the drones free this weekend.

Congratulations to wanneroo, outstanding performance today. Comiserations to Kingsway who probably werent quite on today.

However I think both the clubs in A's next year.

P.S. East Freo Oval is the worst facility in the wafl & should never host an event like this again.
