Winter has finally turned up and the rain has come down. While some ovals may be heavy underfoot this week, the rain should be over and done with before game day.

With the Piara / Maddington merger apparently going ahead (according to that thread) it makes the relegation battle very interesting - you would think only 1 side will go down to C4 and currently only % separate's 8th to 10th.

Last time they met:
SNESA 14.9-93 defeated CWP 10.10-70
Cottesloe 15.11-101 drew with Dianella 15.11-101
Belmont 9.11-65 lost to Manning 12.14-86
Brentwood 9.12-66 lost to Piara Waters 13.9-87
Ellenbrook 11.18-84 defeated Mosman Park 11.11-77

Coolbinia (8th) v SNESA (4th)
An early game (1:20pm) to kick off precedings, last time the Saints came marching in. This time the sides are coming off different form - The Falcons flew over the Roosters & SNESA left Ellenbrook without the points. CWP need the win to stay ahead of Brentwood & Belmont, SNESA need to get back into the top 3 in the chase for a home final. On form I would say CWP could win but I think that the Saints will rebound fairly quickly and I'll pick them to win.

Dianella (1st) v Cottesloe (6th)
Nothing separated the teams last time in what was a top of the table clash. Since then the Raiders have gone from strength to strength and will look to cement top spot for another week her. Cottesloe find themselves 6 points adrift of the 5 and facing an uphill battle to get back in - they need results against the sides above them to have any chance. Dianella to win.

Manning (7th) v Belmont (9th)
The Rippers are 2 games outside the 5 but their % ins't too bad. Wins like this are crucial to keeping in touch Z& you would expect them to do it at home. Belmont seem to mix the good performances with the bad - which team will turn up this week? Hopefully for them its the side that plays extremely well but I can't pick them on a "what if". Manning to win.

Piara (5th) v Brentwood (10th)
The falcons have looked vulnerable over the last couple of weeks and wouldn't want to give the chasing side a sniff by dropping a game. The Bulldogs need wins to gert up the ladder & might see this as their chance to topple a top 5 side. I'll pick Piara to win.

Mosman Park (3rd) v Ellenbrook (2nd)
The game on this ground last year was held in cyclonic conditions with MP kicking with the monster breeze in the last to pull back a handy Eels lead to manage a draw. Hopefully conditions are better on Saturday as 3v2 is surely match of the round. Whoever wins will be 2nd whether by points (in Ellenbrooks case) or % (in MP's case). Should be a great tussle. Eels to win.

So if the merger definitely does go ahead, does that mean that the new side goes straight into the higher division of the two teams? I would've thought that they would have had to restart in the bottom grades like all new teams that come into the competition.

Coolbinia (8th) v SNESA (4th)
Im not convinced on SNESA yet. Very up and down and I think CWP will be hungry here.
CWP by 3 goals

Dianella (1st) v Cottesloe (6th)
DM are in 1st and have a great 2nd half with many home games and some key players back.
DM BY 10 GOALS

Manning (7th) v Belmont (9th)
Manning are just hanging around but finals hopes will fade if they drop this game. Who knows what team Belmont have on the park this week. Being an way game I doubt it will be their strongest.
MANNING BY 4 GOALS

Piara (5th) v Brentwood (10th)
PIARA BY 4 GOALS

Mosman Park (3rd) v Ellenbrook (2nd)
Its hard to go against MP at home but Eels have some great depth and travel wont be a problem.
EELS BY 3 GOALS

Do tell Steel Blue, what's this P.O.S. done now? Does anyone from mossies actually bag him or hate him? Or are they just happy to receive the kicks he gives them?

that would of required him kicking 57 goals which is impossible and also the grand final wasn't played yesterday. But I'm sure the community appreciates your idiotic comment.

But hey I'm sure you slept perfectly last night and have a high degree of morals ....
