I would think that C3 would be a 10 team comp and C4 would have the remaining league/ressie sides no matter whether there is 8, 12 or anything in between.

I can almost guarantee Swan View will NOT have a senior team in 2017. You have also only put 2 team up from C4 and 2 down I think that only 1 team will go down. That'll make a 10 team comp in c3 and 8 team in c4. But it's all speculation till the fixture comes out February/march next year.

I am expecting that Coolbin1a West Perth and Gosnells will move up to E2 in 2017, with the two lowest E2 Clubs from the 2016 season relegated to E3.

Willetton finished last in E2 and are looking for an E3 coach for next season, so I am assuming that they are looking to be re-graded next season.

Sorry Mr Casual, what I was getting at was, if for example there are 12 one team clubs, would they try to fit them all in one grade or not. I was not implying that that Forrestdale would have 2 teams in a one team comp.

I would guess that they might try to unless there was a distinct gap in standard and they could get the lesser performers in E2.

The WAAFL have mentioned in the past few years that E1 would be for the single team clubs, with promotion and relegation between E2 and E3.

Given that Willetton's E grade side have finished last in each of the past 2 years (E1 in 2015 and E2 in 2016), the club is assuming that their E grade side will be playing E3 in 2017.

I think if it's only promotion relegation between 2 grades, make it 5 up 5 down.
