Viper is on the money! Extremely poor umpiring in WCE colts game that saw a great game of football turn into mud because of poor umpiring! But give credit where it is due, great umpiring the next week in the same grade!

What grades you been umpiring skfc1?

Watched the C2 Preliminary on the weekend.

Umpires were average and I have watched most of the B grade guys all year.

One of the umps who I saw quite a bit during the B Grade season attempted to yellow card someone for an errant elbow. After a two minute argument between both clubs and the umps a ball up ensued.

If the players were confused imagine the crowd?

Apparently he could not determine the correct player who was involved?

The umps needs to base their decisions on what they see not what they think they saw?

The 2 yellow cards dished out to the 1 Swan View player on the weekend were a bit over the top don't you think skfc1? Cost the poor bloke a spot in the GF just so the ump could have his moment of glory in front of the Eelenbrook bench.

Spot on mad dog. God complex need to be wiped out amongst some of these umpires

Overall, personally think it has been a very good year by the umpires, topped off by a strong finals series. A lot of hard work went into it behind the scenes and I think the results on field have been good.

Of course free kicks are going to be missed and the odd poor performance is going to be seen, but very good across the year.

Especially in finals. Very good standard. Have personally seen more of the lower grades during finals and think the club umpires have done an outstanding job in the finals that they have umpired It really proves the quality that is still available to clubs that are prepared to put a little bit of research and a little bit of effort into getting a decent club umpire.

The six guys who did E grade football at the weekend all deserve credit for their performances.

Similarly the panel guys in the higher grades have been very solid. Considering some of the garbage that they have been subjected to, I think they have performed well also.

Credit to all umpires for how they have raised their standard in 2015.

haha cheapshots living up to your name I see. Trying to get your posts quota up before the end of the season seeing you only joined the forum a couple of weeks ago

If those umpires are A grade umpires then the waafl better start recruiting, especially the red headed bloke, didn't have a clue
