Both teams are required to use white goal flags. Failure to do so will incur a fine as prescribed in Schedule 1.

This may help anyone who has a query on whether a coaches box should be supplied

One could argue (not me personally) that whilst there is no requirement in the by-laws, it is covered in the overarching Spirit of the Game statement 2 or 8:

2. This element is the fairness, decency and honesty which coaches, players, umpires and spectators must bring to the conduct of the game on every occasion and in all situations which arise in the conduct of the game.

8. Even in the heat of the game all participants must conduct themselves fairly, decently and honestly and with respect for:
(a) the opposition,
(b) the WAAFL, and
(c) the game of Australian rules football.

Caz and Frase, our reserves side has been strong for a few years now. Impacted this year by injuries and so on - moreso than previous years. But that gives the reserves players (and our colts) exposure at the top level against some great opponents so I see it as a positive for those guys. Depth is key for any club in my opinion and that's why I'm bullish that Lawley's depth and strong colts teams will see the club do well (hopefully better) in the next few years. If you look at ex-A Grade clubs like Stirling and Maddington, they have paid the price for not having a competitive reserves team and are looking to play C grade next year. I play in the lower grades every now and then but mostly a spectator these days so don't know the detailed ins and outs of the reserves side week to week but I suspect many reserves/colts will get a shot at the top grade during the year which will mean that others will drop down from time to time.

My kids also enjoy the facilities down at the club. Even the muddy ground to stomp in at the end of the season much to the Mayor's dislike...
