Gosnells Football Club is seeking additional players for all grades for the 2015 season.

The club fields 4 teams in the WAAFL competition – C1 League, Reserves and Colts and an E3 team.

Gosnells has some of the best ground and club facilities in the WAAFL competition, including a fully equipped gymnasium available free for members, and some of the League’s best coaches.

Pre-season training is conducted on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm.

The club is conveniently located in Terrance Street Gosnells, close to Gosnells Railway Station.

I guess 4 different league coaches in 4 seasons shows little or no stability, Maybe this is why they are struggling for numbers

Whose coaching them this year?

Shane Stiles is coaching this year. Gozzy have lost three of their better players to the bush including best & fairest.

Maybe the money has dried up? I'm hearing there will be more clearances lodged for guys to leave Gosnells in the coming weeks.........

Is this just happening at Gosnells. A few 3 senior team clubs have only nominated 2 teams this year. Are people just not playing footy anymore. You should hear the state of junior footy from 13 up, talks of having 12 on 12 as clubs can't get enough players. U17 talk of 15 or 16 team through the entire wafl districts. Greatest game in the world but for how long????

Yep far to many teams to close together and gosnells are in one of the worst areas with maddington, kenwick ,kelmscott ,piara waters ,canningvale ,lynwoodferndale ,forrestfield ,queenspark these are all pretty much neighbouring suburbs with footy clubs the wasfl dont seem to Care more trams more affiliation feed for them and ive heard the same stuff about the struggles of junior footy. To much school footy and both parents working long hours the kids dont play club footy these days thankgod for a few great volunteers that keep these clubs going picking up car liads of kids for training and games it needsto be looked at from the higher levels or soccer and other sports may take over and it will be sooner not later

Soccer already has taken over at a junior level....sooner rather than later has already arrived

Yep the afl has pushed footy to much onto kids and over done it just one of andrew demetrieos (or how ever u spell the gooses name) stuff ups to ruin our great game theres no soccer at school other than the playground so they want to play after school hours its there only option kids dont crave footy anymore they often do to much from the top down footy needs a re-think otherwise great clubs like gosnells with 100 years tradition will fold or forced to merge i hope things turn around for the hawks
