Kenwick had a couple of games against SNESA on Saturday.
originally it was to be 2 full games but SNESA was short on numbers so the first game was reduced to three quarters.

we didn't keep a score but the first game was close and gave us a good read on our players. a couple of spots in the afternoon game where left open to allow a few players to play the afternoon if they impressed the league coach.

not sure how many of their players were playing both games or who was missing from the SNESA side so we can take the second game with a grain of salt but it was a good hitout for us. we didn't keep score but would have won convincingly about 15 - 16 goals.

Cockburn Lakes had our first and only scratchy on Saturday against Canningvale.
Scores weren't kept in either game but cvale would have won the ressies by a couple of goals and won the league comfortably. Even 2nd half, after cvale dominated first half of the league game

Just wondering your rational regarding the differences in swan view and brentwood? considering last years results? Has Swan view recruited well? I assume you are from cockburn?

Don't have a cry bulldog, it was just a crack at what he thinks it might be. He didn't put ellenbrook up top even though they finished on top, and no one from ellenbrook sookin about why they weren't number 1. Maybe because our young guns are growing up, and you're fossils are growing old hahaha

Guessing you're from Cockburn judging by response. Pretty reasonable question I would think - not sooking!

I see banga is fishing for a response from a highly emotional bulldog.... bit early in the season cobba! Obvioulsy still hurting from that wet day in september. Lucky for us the old fossils may be able to age gracefully in the ressies this year!

just thought he might know something about Swan View that we dont, care to disclose whats happening down at brown park Banga? How many of your colts are still colts age?

Good to see the boys from Brentwood and Swan View coming up and providing plenty of banter. Should make for an interesting forum all season. Balla played 2 scratchies against Noranda and Coolbinia with all 3 teams getting a full game both weeks. The club was very pleased with the results across both weekends. Would also be good for a bit of colts chat as the WCE colts doesn't seem to get talked about much.

I'll give my ladder a crack:

Ellenbrook
Ballajura
Brentwood
Kenwick
Swan View
East Fremantle (massively improved in the last month in 2013)
Cockburn
Dianella
Manning

Happy predicting!

Ill add my two cents worth gang, We played Brentwood a couple of weeks ago - we a re a C1 club and I think we only won by a couple of goals. I have since heard they have beaten another C1 club this pre season.

From my opinion Brentwood has good pace - infact they were very fast, they have good height across the ground, and they are very well coached and drilled in what they need to do at each stoppage.

Brentwood will play deep into finals unless they get some bad luck across the way with injuries.

Good luck to everyone else in C3 - just dont under estimate the Bulldogs from brentwood

PH i can only assume you are from Lynwood, we would have liked to have gotten our plaque back, I say ours, even though we have never held it!

Things ticking along nicely at the kennel, hasnt just happened, as you say well coached and the attitudes have done a 360, hopefully be in a position to be in this year where if you dont train you dont play, which we have been trying to implement for years.

In saying that we know we cant take much out of scratch match scores, so plenty of hard work to be done on the track if we want to taste success!!
