As recently as a fortnight ago the Hawks showed the Cougars a clean pair of heels and now a replay at the same ground is on. Have Carlisle learnt from the past 2 clashes? This game has the potential to be an arm wrestle the whole way through with only a kick or 2 deciding the margin. Will think the home ground advantage and crowd will be enough to get the Hawks over the line.

An even ledger with both sides recording big wins at home, the problem for the Warriors is they are away this week. This game could be won or lost in the first 15 minutes – if Nollamara are in front at that stage you would have to back them in. Cockburn have to stop the Cougar midfield getting clear entry into the forward line while Hotdogs will have to have a big impact. After making it through to last years C4 GF, Nolla know what the need to do.

The Cougars have beaten us both times this season and would be fairly confident of doing it again after the strong finish they had in round 13. A game close to home and with no other teams playing should have a good crowd for the Eels and the boys will want to perform for it. Carlisle will also have a good crowd and will want their league boys to hear the club song before their clash. The Eels fought hard on the weekend for 3rd spot and a crack at Carlisle, this should be a ripper.

This game will be interesting – will Cockburn have the advantage of the league playing the same day able to play down if not selected? Or will the fact that 14 of East Freo’s 39 qualified players also played 5 or more league games and can now just focus on the magoos? After seeing both teams first hand over the last few weeks I was surprised at the round 14 result – Easts had a better spread of players across the ground I thought. Shows anything can happen on any given day.

in the league tipping noranda in a fierce game of footy and cockburn in the upset, they have some pieces that can get the job done over nollamara, and they have a lot more structure than the cougars!

Of course it's biased - I haven't picked against Ellenbrook all year.....
Don't know many guys that do tip against their own sides - pretty sure you won't tip against East Freo this week.

Bazza. Probably one of your more stupid posts that I have read. Seriously who wouldn't tip there own side. Clearlyyou will be ssupporting east freo. I would support them also if our club focused on winning a reserve flag over seeing the league team have success.

Doesn't look like Cockburn have put the score in but whispers on the grapevine suggest they won by a point after an East Freo player had a shot after the siren and put it out on the full.

Well the underdogs in 3 of the matches had wins. Goes to show the difference between finals and the normal season. Great to see it so even. Its anyones prize from here. Both the ellenbrook sides will play at home on the weekend. Will be great for both teams spirit. And will be a great challenge for both teams
