Interesting post Piesman.........i think that colts should definitely have bearing in this as most clubs see the colts as more important than reserves. Therefore i would think that if Norandas colts have earnt a 2nd semi, plus their league has hosting rights that they would keep all 3 Noranda games together?????

However that may be a common sense approach, which most of the time the ammos dont have........

I believe they will have the league & reserve 2nd semis both at Coolamon (based on the Eels finishing top in league and therefor getting the advantage of having the 2's play on the same oval).

Either way it's only 10-15 minutes between ovals....

Either way there is going to be some hard fought contest this week. Looking forward to the challenge playing carlisle this weekend. Should be a good physical game if noranda didn't take to much out of them.

Yeah common sense would have the 3 Carlisle teams at one ground and the 3 Noranda teams at the other. Can understand if they go the other way though i guess..

Surely they will keep both first semis together and both second semis together, that makes more sense to me.

Personally I think no finals should be played at cooloman oval... I understand ellenbrook definitely deserve the right for finishing on top
But that ground would have to be one of the worst around...in particular most new ovals / areas are quite good not sure why cooloman is in such a bad state especially in the wetter months.

All in all both games coming up should be a cracker so good luck to all 4

For the rest of us it's time to start looking forward to our end if season footy trip

charlie, obviously we (ellenbrook) will be at home this weekend but yes the oval has had its troubles over the years, and the fault really goes to the city of swan, they seem intent on having it ready for cricket season every year, and start preparations a month out from finals! quite frustrating, and the size of junior club obviously also means that there is a lot of traffic on it. the condition has improved with the sunny week we just had and 2 weeks without any games on it, it should be in tip top condition come Saturday!

Looks like they have decided ellenbrook v noranda will be played at the slippery dip aka coolamon come on boys lets end noranda's unbeaten run !
