A few big wins to teams on the weekend, mainly The 3 100+ point wins for teams on the weekend. The race for 5th place on the ladder is wide open and Kingsley moved out of the relegation zone.

Mr Mysterious had a good day at the football. Let me tell you though nobody was not to impressed with Lynwood forfeiting the colts. If you can't get at least 14 colts players together to play a game of football on Saturday not sure how long you will last playing C1. 3 colts teams have now forfeited in Ian Dargie colts which is quite dissapointing. Seeing as every other team from Wanneroo was already full,it meant our players had nothing to do and our supporters had to sit around for 3 hours.

Eventually some football got underway and it was all one way traffic. If Wanneroo had kicked straight the result could have been a lot larger. Bad kicking can cost teams games, hopefully the reserves can sort this out. There were a few incidents during the game. Mainly in the last quarter when a Lynwood player put a Wanneroo player down after he had kicked it. Then the Wanneroo player retaliated. Both players should really have been sent off, but the Lynwood umpire who was Rob Van Damn's clone only sent the Wanneroo player off. But still the reserves had a 70 point win.

The league game started well with Wanneroo kicking 6 goals to 1 in the first quarter. I was hoping it wouldn't be a repeat of the last time against Lynwood. But Wanneroo were poor in the second quarter and went away from what they did in the first. After a little reminder from the coach as to what needed to be done then went about it in the third and fourth quarters. I didn't think the margin was that big, but then again I don't think Lynwood scored in the last quarter. Wanneroo came away with the 110 point win.

I'm looking forward to the game this weekend against Kingsway. No one from Lynwood came and shared a beer with me, which is quite sad. I really don't like drinking by myself.
The fourths played a night game against Gosnells and had a big win.

Wow, massive win for Melville league. Their form is very timely.

No worries Premiership hangover. I usually hang around for a beer after the game but I left early after falling asleep during the last quarter. Wanneroos colts team isn't to bad, pity you didn't have a chance to watch them play.

I apologise to the player who I felled in the last quarter. It was very late and I shouldnt have done it. I will say this though that bloke from Wanneroo only plays footy to release his anger at the world as he feels hard done by for some reason. All day he swore at Lynwood players and starting trouble for no reason. He has no sense of sportsmanship and if it hadnt been me it would be someone else. His attempted king hit on me was something that I am happy to wear considering my behaviour was unacceptable.

Spot on PH,This is obviously in relation to the grade that matters.. Reserves...Mr.M i have some advice for you're group of muppets, they need to 1) trim their beef curtains and grow some balls 2) study up on replays of our last encounter 3) Double Tag Panda.

Unfortunately i think my words of wisdom have come a little late, i calculated that preparing for our finals rematch will take your kids approx 11 weeks of mental and 2 1/2 years of intense physical preparation.

Kingsway vs Wanneroo Colts should be a cracker this week with both sides equal 2nd on the ladder. I know that Kingsway were missing 7 - 8 of their better players last weekend due to an overseas trip so will appreciate being back to full strength against a good opposition. Tough for Wanneroo having no game last weekend due to a forfeit but i see Kingsway missed 2 in a row through forfeits so it must be hard for these sides to build up momentum leading into finals with forfeits aplenty!

I imagine the Ressies and League should be quite entertaining as well with it also being Kingsway's Past players day and 100 club raffle draw day

colts numbers at alot of clubs is a real issue. I know our club will have to weigh up next year do they go for colts again and struggle for numbers, or do they put in a thirds side and allow these kids to play senior football each weekend with some older players around them to teach them?

Id rather our club have three sides that play each week rather than 2 and a side that play and a third side that struggles for numbers and has to forfeit during the season.

Dont know what the waafl can do about it but colts is dead in alot of older suburbs, and there are other suburbs that have two or even three colts teams.

If only Glenn Archer had of turned to you lot for characters in his movie Blinder maybe he would have had a hit on his hands. Cracker of a read from the likes of Mr Mysterious, Yolo Swaggins, King Panda & The Claw and to think we are still a month away from finals. Keep it up fellas, best thread on the site. The rest of us probably need to lift a little. Hope the quality of the footy in C1 is matching the banter
