all good and well to say the umpires need to do more. We had a game called off at half time because the umpire was threatened, pushed and head butted, the guy also tried to belt a few spectators. the umpire was threatened because he did stand his ground and a gave yellow card for abuse which then turned into a red.

But the most amusing thing was when they went to the tribunal and the guy was found guilty of threatening an umpire and suspended for 9 weeks but was found not guilty of striking an umpire due to "lack of proof". I find this strange as both umpires were at the tribunal and both said the player did.

so if both field umpires say the guy hit one of them and the league says there's no proof and lets the guy get away with it then the league is kidding themselves. No wonder the league can't attract umpires they don't back them up when they should.

The way I see it is there is no consistancy with the club umpires some might issue yellows one game and others dont for the same thing. It is the same problem every year. Very hard to umpire with some of the turkeys running around making the most incomprehensible decisions or not making any at all!!

The officials maybe intimidated by this mob. They have a bad reputation and are a disgrace . Football is football but violence is violence. They really are a bad image for Aussie rules.

Here here! There have been many incidents brushed under the carpet from this mob. Why should anyone have to make an "official complaint"? They sent league umpires and officials to a mid season game a couple of years ago for fear of it getting out of control - the league is well aware. Easier to turn a blind eye until something drastic occurs. Get your head out of your ass waafl and sort this mob out

No club is perfect or without incedent, but I guarantee there's people at Nolla (like there is at every club) working hard trying to sort things out.

Highly doubt that Darth raider otherwise you wouldnt hear about this as often as we all do.

i have now played against nollamara twice now. and to be honest we have never had a real problem. both teams go hard at the ball and play for the 4 points. i have had bigger dramas with other clubs E.G balladura. you will never take away or change umpire decisions. but if u think a game was won and/or lost due to an umpire. maybe you didnt do your job for the whole 4 qtrs.

We copped a nice and harsh pasting on here a few months ago and I know for a fact that our committee and staff work their asses off to try and improve our club.

Now i'm not saying that there's not an issue (have barely seen Nolla play) but i'll always go into bat for the battlers behind the scenes as there's more to a club than just the players.
