In the end isn't that what amateur footy is about getting out having a game and enjoying yourself afterwards. Just keep them playing Hangover and this attitude may change, as you have seen at your previous club.

Footy is far more enjoyable if your winning though so maybe getting down to training would be a good thing!

Thanks Bundy, you know I respect what you say mate, and your right at community football its all about blokes having fun. Wasnt that the message from alot of people for the reasons why blokes didnt play when groovin the move was on??????

Yes Roo your right winning is alot more enjoyable than loosing, however these guys are young and still growing up. Training doesnt rate as highly as girls, beer, cars drugs etc and the boys are at the age where they like going to Burswood Friday nights to get "Gassed" but they all still turn up and give their all to each other on a Saturday.

Unfortunately Roo unlike you guys at Wanneroo that have about 70 colts on your books we cant be that picky. We just allow the boys to play and those that want to do the right things get games in the teague, and those that want to drink piss and play colts with their mates get to do that.

Other option is to piss them all off, have no colts and watch out club struggle in years to come with no juniors coming through. Outside of colts the oldest junior age group at Lynwood is under 13's so the gap is huge.

I personally don't go out the night before because footy the next day is certainly not enjoyable for me! If you know what I mean haha

I do know of some players who generally go out the night before. They can't function if they don't I've heard. If they play well, who cares!
