Kingsley should definately walk away with there head held high after that performance, but they shouldnt walk away feeling as if they won, that is ridiculous.

CWP seem to be going ok and will trouble the top sides, they did knock off Kingsway, so to say they cant run with the top 5 is definately incorrect.

If Kingsley keep playing the way they did on the weekend, then i dont see how they could be relegated. But the fact is in the results, they havent been playing that well all year. Is possible for them to take a lot from the weekends game, gain some confidence (maybe even play a couple of colts) and avoid relegation. There colts seem to be strong and are the future of the club, play them in League like the rest of the top sides are doing.

After seeing all teams I still think that Kingsley and Thornlie will be relegated. CWP wont be relegated they may make the 5, they arent a bad team just will struggle with a few injuries as the reserves team isn't going so well. The good teams Wanneroo, Kelmscott, Kingsway all have alot of young kids playing for them which helps out as the 18,19,20 year olds dont mind having a real crack. Kingsley and Thornlie both have very good kids running around in the colts, probably worth them playing league, because they still can play colts finals later on.

Very perceptive of you Mr Mysterious. The difference between finals and the depths of the ladder, for CWP, may indeed come down to an improvement in the injury toll, which is shocking at the moment.

I spoke to a CWP player who said a few have been injured and that they were rapt with the win last weekend. I think they are a good chance as any to finish in the top 5. If they can get a win this weekend, they could find themselves sitting sitting 4th on the ladder by Saturday night

Thornlie played 10 Colts on Saturday and sometimes with such a young side you will get a hiding one week and then be better the next.

I will say the Thornlie Colts have a great attitude at the club towards playing league which is a big thing at any club.

They have had a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 play every week with an average of about 4 or 5.

Hats off to all of them for having a crack.

You can see this on the selection sheets every week so really you cant trot out the old line maybe they should play the Colts.

I do notice some colts players do double up though, obviously they are happy to do this buts it's never good having someone play 2 games on a day. Mind you I haven't seen Thornlie since early on in the season where some colts players said, "this is why we don't play league" after the reserves and league copped 100 point hidings. But good on for the kids playing league, they can always go back and play for the colts in the finals

Probably because their Colts had a bye due to Melville not having a colts team?
Any news on the Gosnell's v Lynwood Colts game as no result posted as yet?

Obviously not just this week I was talking about other weeks.

Gosnells won by about 6 or 7 goals in the colts, Our boys are trying hard each week but they dont want to train so they cant expect alot of wins.

They do enjoy themselves each week though
